Official Transcripts

An official transcript reflects a student’s permanent academic record at Thompson Rivers University. Official transcripts list a student’s program of study, all courses attempted and the grades obtained. Additionally, transcripts also reflect courses transferred to TRU, but do not display grades. Completed credentials will only appear on a transcript once a student has been graduated.

Before ordering a transcript, ensure that all final letter grades, and credential (if applicable), are showing in myTRU under “View your transcript”.

Transcripts may not be ordered if there is an account hold in place, such as a financial or library hold. Any holds that may be applied to a student record can be viewed in myTRU.

All transcript orders, except those delivered by courier or those going to one of our Electronic Transfer Institution partners, are sent through regular mail service via Canada Post and delivery standards vary by address and according to their timelines. Tracking is only available on transcript orders sent by courier. Note: TRU is not responsible for delayed or lost transcripts due to mail service.
