Financial Reporting and ESG
The research cluster on Financial Reporting and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) was formed in 2023 in response to expectations that companies should disclose both financial and non-financial information including corporate activities related to ESG. Accountants and finance professionals around the world discuss the best ways to create, disclose and use this information. The research cluster aims to promote collaborative research on Financial Reporting and ESG. The members of the research cluster have presented their work at international meetings and have hired several research assistants to create a dataset of ESG reports. The research cluster has plans to share knowledge on emerging trends in ESG with potential industry partners and is making plans for a workshop featuring leading experts in the field.
