FACT Research
Alongside teaching, research is a fundamental aspect of the professoriate at Thompson Rivers University. All instructors engage with research to keep abreast of the latest and changing knowledge in their various and diverse fields and to share that knowledge with their students. I am delighted that so many faculty in Adventure, Culinary Arts and Tourism are active and highly productive researchers. This report provides a snapshot of the external research grants secured by faculty as well as their publications in the scholarly mediums and presentations to academic, professional, industry and communities bodies. The report is a reminder of the contributions that faculty are making to their respective fields; it highlights the leadership roles faculty are making to the production of knowledge that is having an impact among on their academic peers and in government circles, industry and in the community.
